Location: Sandston, VA

Pay: $20/hour , Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday–Friday (No weekends, no late nights)

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a dependable, upbeat Line Cook to help prepare and execute daily menu items with consistency, quality, and care. We cook food from all over the world, so if you love variety, learning new flavors, and being part of a collaborative team—this is the place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and scale recipes accurately
  • Perform basic and advanced knife cuts
  • Execute core cooking techniques (searing, sautéing, grilling, frying, poaching, roasting, stock making)
  • Set up and stock prep stations prior to service; keep stations clean and organized
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards; ensure proper storage and handling
  • Assist with inventory/restocking as needed
  • Work closely with the Chef team and communicate issues promptly

Physical Requirements

Activities:

Bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), carry, push, climb, reach, kneel, stoop, walk, stand, climb stairs

Physical Demands:

Stand, walk, sit, handle/finger, reach outward/above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat/kneel, bend

Lift/Carry:

10 lbs or less, 11–20 lbs, 21–50 lbs, 51–100 lbs

Push/Pull:

12 lbs or less, 13–25 lbs, 26–40 lbs, 41–100 lbs

Other:

● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

● Comfort standing/walking for up to 8 hours

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year related culinary experience
  • ServSafe or equivalent Food Handler’s License
  • Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
