Prep Cook (Full Time)

No Weekends • No Late Nights • Guaranteed 40 Hours

Location: Jeffersonville, IN

Pay: $20–$21/hour, Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday–Friday (No weekends, no late nights)

What You'll Do

●     Accurately read, interpret, and scale recipes and prep sheets

●     Prepare, assemble, and cook items to established standards

●     Perform knife cuts with precision (slicing, dicing, chopping) and complete general prep tasks

●     Prepare ingredients and components for service (vegetables, proteins, sauces, dressings, portion packs)

●     Safely operate kitchen equipment including ovens and prep equipment

●     Follow food safety and sanitation standards (labeling, dating, storage, FIFO rotation)

●     Set up, stock, clean, and break down your station

●     Work closely with the Chef team and communicate needs clearly (inventory, quality, equipment)

●     Assist with inventory/restocking and maintain par levels as needed

Physical Requirements

Activities: Bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), carry, push, climb, reach, kneel, stoop, walk, stand, climb stairs

Physical Demands: Stand, walk, sit, handle/finger, reach outward/above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat/kneel, bend

Lift/Carry: 10 lbs or less, 11–20 lbs, 21–50 lbs, 51–100 lbs

Push/Pull: 12 lbs or less, 13–25 lbs, 26–40 lbs, 41–100 lbs

Other:

●     Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

●     Comfort standing/walking for up to 8 hours
