Recall Opportunity Notice
This notice is being issued in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) to fill a vacancy in the Dish Machine Operator (DMO) classification.The Company is seeking to recall eligible employees with recall rights. This is not a new position, but a reinstatement opportunity for individuals with recall rights under the CBA.
Position Summary
The Dish Machine Operator (DMO) is a bargaining unit position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen areas through manual and machine cleaning methods. The role also supports basic back-of-house functions consistent with the established classification.
Essential Functions
- Operate dish machine to ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of dishes, glassware, flatware, and utensils
- Load, run, and unload dish machine at appropriate sanitation standards
- Wash pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment as required
- Sort, rinse, and rack soiled items for cleaning
- Stack, store, and transport clean items to appropriate areas
- Polish flatware to maintain clean appearance
- Maintain cleanliness of dish area, including floors and surrounding workspace
- Remove trash and transport to designated areas
- Fill and maintain cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- Monitor and report equipment issues or malfunctions
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including cleaning and preparing fruits and vegetables (up to 20% of time)
- Receive and store products as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation standards, including OSHA and public health guidelines
- Perform other duties consistent with the classification as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have active recall rights under the CBA
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
- Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and operational procedures
- Prior experience in a similar classification preferred
Compensation & Terms
- Compensation will be paid in accordance with the CBA rate for the DMO classification
- All wages, premiums, and working conditions will be applied in accordance with the CBA

Schedule & Hours
- Expected schedule: approximately 8 hours/40 hours per week
- Hours and schedule are subject to change based on operational needs
- No guarantee of minimum hours is implied beyond applicable CBA provisions
- Work is performed on-site
Recall / Selection Process
- Employees with recall rights will be contacted using their last known contact information
- Selection will be based on seniority and ability to perform the work
- Employees must respond within 72 hours to indicate acceptance or refusal
